Since my Summer schedule is a bit more open we like to take opportunities to lead worship at other churches.  We were invited by my Father-in-Law - Cyle's Dad, Mack Tucker, to lead worship at North Island Church for July 4th this year, and it was such a blessing!  They are a very free, passionate group of worshipers, and we always enjoy worshiping there with them.

Our band was TJ Thompson on electric guitar/melody bgvox, Paul Duvall on bass, Donny Simmons on drumsn, and Heather Blankenship on additional vocals.

    1.  "Joy in the Morning" (Saint Lewis Original)
This has been one of our most well-received recently-penned originals - a joyful, mid-tempo groove song, that is both fun to sing (it's got some crazy falsetto stuff in it) and play.

    2.  "Sing my Love" - Sarah McMillan
Cyle has been drawn to this song since she first heard it, but since backing Molly Williams (Sarah's sister) on it on keys/B3 a few weeks back it's consistently been on her heart, so we threw this one in.  It's a fairly well-known song at NIC, simple, fun to play, and a passionate heart-cry, so it's always a great one to pick when leading worship there.  We medlied it into our original, "All in All".

    3.  "All in All (You're all I Need)" (Saint Lewis Original)
The bridge to this song is probably one of my favorite 'tags' - it can attach itself to nearly anything in 4/4 that's a song of praise.

    4.  "You're love never Fails" - Chris McClarney/Jesus Culture version
I lead this so often that many of the local think I wrote it.  I wish.  It is a theme that comes from my heart - God using our pain for our good.  That's something I can bank on.  Good news.

    5.  "You won't Relent/Doves Eyes" - Misty Edwards/Jesus Culture version
I co-led this song with Heather and Cyle - one of the most intense, and intimate worship songs ever written.

Overall, it was a blessed Sunday, and we look forward to returning soon!  Next, our trip to the North Carolina mountains to lead worship at Camp Living Waters!
