We’ve been working hard towards a release of Saint Lewis’ debut of
Songs from the Hope Farm
, and as evidence I present to you an unfinished, only barely E.Q.-ed, mix of one of my personal favorites, “Never Cease to Sing”.
This is one of my the first worship songs I’d written, and in the past I’ve used it corporately at various live community youth events, special guest Sunday appearances at other churches, Sunday evening services at Brunswick Christian Renewal, and Wednesday night Inside Out services at St. Simons Community Church. I think the most moving occasion for this song to date is when a friend requested that I sing it for her mother - who was under Hospice care - as she was about to pass from this life to the next. That one clings to me - a memory I will not easily shake - and may very well be why I chose to record this one.
We’re still working on recording the keys, and some strings, as well as final vocal tracks (these are scratch), including background vocals, and then we’ll begin the final mixing process.
I hope this one blesses you as much as it’s blessed me. I’ve attached a chord chart if you’d like to use it in your church, or for your personal worship time.
